Rituals

Good soap asks you to slow down for a minute.

You don’t need a ten-step routine. Warm water, a good bar and one minute that’s yours is enough. Here’s how to get the most from every KON bar.

The everyday ritual

Wet. Run the bar and your hands, or a cloth, under warm water.

Lather. Turn the bar between your palms until a soft, creamy lather builds. Olive oil lathers slowly, so give it a few seconds. A little goes a long way.

Cleanse. Massage the lather over your skin and breathe in the scent. Let it be a small pause in your day, not a rush.

Rest. Rinse, then set the bar on a draining dish so it dries between uses. Kept dry, a single bar lasts far longer.

The morning ritual

The start of the day calls for something bright. Matcha Green Tea is green and cool, with peppermint and lemon. Ginger Turmeric is warm and spiced. Olive Shea is the gentlest of the six, for days that need nothing extra.

The evening ritual

At the end of the day, slower, softer scents. Damask Rose, grown in Madaba. Lavender, soft and warm, from the same town. Frankincense, dry and resinous, with a hint of woodsmoke and citrus peel.

Caring for your bar

Keep it out of standing water. A dish with ridges or slots lets air reach the bottom so the bar dries properly. Out of the shower stream, it lasts even longer. Store spare bars in their box, somewhere cool and dry.
